We looked at Samaria in 2010 in the Fall. She's a great 1997 example of the GB49. ​It was a great boat at a great price. But we were not ready to buy a boat at that moment.

The boat was later purchased and placed in the NW Explorations fleet and renamed Alaskan Dream. And we chartered her in 2011 and 2012 spending about 12 weeks on her. It was our charter aboard Alaskan Dream in 2011 that convinced us that a Grand Banks 49 was the boat we wanted.​
